In a wild back-and-forth affair, the Princeton Posse knotted up their second round playoff matchup to the North Okanagan Knights, with a 4-3 victory in overtime.

Game four, hosted at Armstrong’s Nor-Val Centre, was an offensive clinic, with 103 total shots fired on net.

The Knights struck first, with Gage Parrell scoring 13 seconds in. That was quickly followed by a Nolan Kelly marker to put the home team up two early.

The Posse, coming off a game three 4-0 win, promptly responded with two goals of their own, from Vinay Junek and Bryton Morrow.

In the second, Ty Russell gave Princeton their first lead of the game. Colton Fleming then tied it up four minutes later for North Okanagan.

After a scoreless third, overtime was needed and with just one minute remaining in the extra frame, Lucas Sadownyk’s second of the postseason gave the visiting Posse the win.

Blake Sittler got his fourth victory in the postseason, stopping 41 shots. Throughout 10 games in the regular season and playoffs, Sittler has not lost a game.

On the opposite end of the ice, Knights Josh Hager turned away 55 of 59 shots thrown his way. Through eight playoff games, Hager has a sturdy .941 save percentage.

With the best-of-seven series now a best-of-three, game five will be in Princeton on Friday, March 15.
