Princeton and District Minor Hockey would like thank all the people who stepped forward to take on a position on the Minor Hockey executive over the past two weeks during a crucial period of growth for the league. Secretary Deanne Kary who sent out a plea to the public was pleased to announce that “all positions have been filled. We were really worried about whether or not we would be able to fill the vacant positions, but the results have turned out well.”
Now that a new executive is formed. They will be meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7th at the Library Conference Room to discuss the 2011/12 season with community updates to follow.
Kary wanted all interested parties to know that the meeting is open to everyone. “If anyone would like to come and put their name forward to help out in any capacity with Minor Hockey you are more than welcome to attend,” stated Kary. “The more people who help out the smoother our year will go.
