Hockey camps jump start Princeton hockey season

It is that time of year again. “Hockey season is right around the corner,” said Posse Coach Dale “Duner” Hladun. “We are running a junior prep camp for ages 16 to 20 starting August 14 - 18 followed by Posse team try-outs from the August 19-21. Guest coaches include; other KIJHL teams as well as the Merritt Centennials and Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCHL.

It is that time of year again.  “Hockey season is right around the corner,” said Posse Coach Dale “Duner” Hladun.  “We are running a junior prep camp for ages 16 to 20 starting August 14 - 18 followed by Posse team try-outs from the August 19-21.  Guest coaches include; other KIJHL teams as well as the Merritt Centennials and Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCHL.

From August 22-26 there will be hockey school for the minor hockey kids 14 and under.  “Kids will see two ice times a day plus some off ice events including the Splash Park and some fun outdoor games.  Ice sessions include skating and puck skill development, team play as well as, fun and competitive drills and games and we will teach body contact skills where applicable.”  Coaches will consist of former Posse players as well as Head Coach Duner.
