Rob was a humble man with simple needs, quiet, unassuming, a good friend, and always paying it forward.
Rob worked hard at his sanitation collectors' job and was proud that his hard work allowed him to own his own home in Princeton. His first passion was his love of dogs, not just his own but all the dogs he met either out walking or during his years as the local sanitation collector.
Over the years Rob did many other things, including coaching gymnastics, sign painting and painting backdrops for plays, gardening, helping seniors with their gardens and shovelling driveways and walkways, and dog sledding with early morning training runs and frigid temperatures. Rob organized fundraising that allowed donations for dog and cat lifesaving oxygen equipment used by the Princeton Fire Hall. He was also an amazing cook and liked to listen to his favourite radio shows on CBC. Rob's smile and willingness to always help out will be remembered by his friends, and folks whose lives he touched.
