June 27, 2018
Larry Catlin of Princeton BC, passed away peacefully with family at his side on June 27, 2018, at River Valley Lodge in Keremeos, BC. Larry was predeceased by his parents Elsie and Bert Catlin of Abbotsford BC, survived by sister Joan (LeFteris) and brother Ken (Patty).

Larry will be deeply missed by the love of his life for 57 years, Lyndy, son Rick/Bonnie, daughters Tracy, Laura/Jim, and grandchildren Courtenay Jack, Paige, Zachary, Jesse and Brother-in-Law Jim/Pat. He will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends.

Larry's vision of becoming a police officer was fulfilled when he joined the Edmonton City Police Department in 1964 and after 33 years of police service he retired from the West Vancouver Police Department in 1997. Post retirement, he served as a Provincial Coroner for several years and continued his passion for serving and caring for others while being employed with the Princeton & District Community Services for six years. During his years of public service, Larry was a strong advocate for the less fortunate and had a special place in this heart for the underdog.

Larry loved nature and the outdoors, Tulameen and Princeton held special places in his heart. Some of Larry's favourite memories was time spent with his grandchildren, camping, quadding, hunting, boating, road trips and playing knee hockey.

Larry will be missed, but will be forever remembered in our hearts. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to Princeton & District Community Services in memory of Larry. Box 1960, Princeton, BC, V0X 1W0.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
