August 3, 1943 - February 14, 2019
On February 14, 2019, Janice's long struggle with dementia came to a peaceful end. She was born in Regina, Sask., on August 3, 1943, to Jim and Grace Robinson, and moved to BC as an infant.
Janice is survived by her husband, Larry, of 56 years; 3 children, Leslie Hassell (Jamie) of Tulameen, Lisa Westcott (Shane) of Calgary, Larry Jr. (Nicole) of Kelowna; 5 grandchildren, Danielle, Courtney, Parker, Patricia, James, and brother Jim of Port Coquitlam.
Janice was a member of Similkameen Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and life- long member of The United Church of Canada.
The family is grateful to Dr. Tim Van Der Heide and the staff and volunteers at Ridgewood Lodge for their compassionate care.
A family gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a date to be determined. No public service.
