Don(83) was born in Naicam Saskatchewan, as Donald Edwin Schreckenberg. Son of the late Frank and Beatrice Schreckenberg.
He was raised in Armstrong BC, enjoying the farm life, and eventually moving to a career in road construction throughout the province. Don met Penny, and they were married in Princeton BC where they settled and had two young daughters Carol and Bonnie. Their third daughter Teresa joined the family years later. Predeceased by his wife Penny, sisters; Edna (Ron), Nora (Cliff), and brother Larry. He is survived by his daughters Carol, Bonnie and Teresa- Lynn, granddaughters; Ashley (Andrew), Nicole (Drew), grandsons; Luke and Levi, eldest sister Delores (Dennis), sister in laws; Trudy (Frank), Patsy and Theresa (Barry), as well as many nieces and nephews throughout the province.
Don has left many broken hearts with his passing, though, he also left us with his love and memories. His calm demeanour and kindness will never be replaced. By his request there will not be a funeral, but there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
