Video: Skiers delight over fresh powder

A video captured on Boxing Day shows skiers enjoying the snow at Apex Mountain Resort.

Skiers at Apex Mountain Resort have being hitting fresh powder for the last 24 hours.

According to resort officials more than 12 centimetres of snow has accumulated since Monday.

The falling white stuff combined with a clear skies and a mild -7 C is making for a bluebird day on the hill.

The champagne powder provided the perfect setting for Preserved Light Photography to capture this video.

All of the lifts are in operation and night skiing kicks off at 4 p.m.

More snow is in the forecast for Thursday evening along with cooler temperatures.
