RCMP respond to motorcycle accident

A serious collision occurred two kilometers west of Sunday Summit near Princeton on Highway 3 at approximately 12:30 August 7, 2011.

A serious collision occurred two kilometers west of Sunday Summit near Princeton on Highway 3 at approximately 12:30 August 7, 2011.  A motorcycle was travelling east bound when it crashed into a west bound travel trailer.  The motorcycle then bounced back into the east bound lane where it was struck by another vehicle.  The male driver of the motorcycle was air lifted to Royal Columbia Hospital with undetermined injuries.  Traffic was halted while the air lift was in progress.  The Highway was then opened to one way alternate traffic.  The drivers and passengers of the two motor vehicles appeared to have no injuries.
