Princeton RCMP File 2011-88 Phone Scam
It has recently come to the attention of the Princeton RCMP that an unknown person or persons is phoning Princeton area residents and claiming to collect money for an RCMP program called Cops 4 Kids Safety.
Princeton RCMP would like to remind the public that the RCMP does not solicit donations by phone for any RCMP sponsored programs. If anyone receives a similar phone call, do not provide any personal details or banking details to the person and immediately contact PhoneBusters at 1-888-495-8501 and report the incident.
