PSS will remain open with limited supervision during strike

All schools will be open during the strike, but parents are encouraged to find other options for their children.

Princeton Secondary School will remain open during the strike on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but the school district is telling parents there may not be enough staff to provide instruction and sufficient supervision.

Buses will not be running to the high school during the strike.

All schools will remain open during the strike. Principals, vice-principals and non-union staff will be there to watch students, but parents who can make alternate arrangements are encouraged to do so.

The three-day strike was announced today after 87 per cent of B.C. teachers voted for it.
