Princeton RCMP will hold a meeting in Hedley this month, to address community issues.

“It will be a public forum to address safety and policing concerns,” said Sergeant Robert Hughes.

The forum will be held Thursday December 19, at 6 p.m., at the Community Centre.

Hughes said he looks forward to the opportunity to meet with residents of the small village, and answer any questions.

In October a Hedley man was arrested after shots were fired from the street at an alleged drug house, in the small village of 240 people.

And during the November sitting of circuit court in Princeton, two men were sent to jail for two years after pleading guilty to a 2017 home invasion at the same address.

A Hedley businesswoman, TJ Bratt started a petition days after the recent shooting.

“All it really says is that we would like to see the drug activi
