Oliver woman arrested in theft from vehicles

A rash of theft from vehicles occurred over the past weekend in the community of Oliver

Oliver RCMP recovered a number of items stolen from vehicles in the community this week.

After a rash of vehicles thefts over March 8 to 10 weekend, the RCMP executed a search warrant at home in Oliver.

“Through investigation, some of the property that had been stolen was believed to be in an Oliver residence where the tenants are known to police. Oliver RCMP applied for and were granted a search warrant, which was executed at the residence without incident,” a press release from the Oliver detachment stated.

A number of items were found at the home which police have confirmed were stolen from one of the vehicles. A woman has been arrested in connection to this stolen property.

The investigation is ongoing.
