It will cost $93,000 to replace the Town of Princeton’s Christmas lights, stored at the public works yard and destroyed in the November 2021 flood.
At a recent meeting council voted to purchase new decorations from Dekra-Lite, a Port Coquitlam firm.
According to a report prepared by Gary Schatz, tourism and economic development coordinator, the purchase follows a one-source quote, requested because of the specific nature of the order.
The cost is covered by the town’s insurer.
