Three men from the Lower Mainland face charges of illegal hunting after being apprehended by Princeton RCMP.
Police were notified by the BC Conservation Office March 8 to be on the look out for the hunters, and their vehicle was stopped on Copper Mountain Road, according to Corporal Chad Parsons.
The occupants of the vehicle were detained when police “found a dead deer in the back of the truck, shot out of season.”
Three fire arms were seized, and the investigation was handed over the CO to pursue charges, said Parsons.
