A vehicle drove into a popular pizza and donair restaurant in Keremeos Friday night.

Boboys Pizza and donair sub sandwich shop was rocked by a sedan that drove into the outside picnic table, wall and breaking a window among other exterior damage.

Boyboys announced Friday night on their Facebook page that they would be closing after that happened. The restaurant also well known for its pies and baked goods is located at 605-7th Avenue.

Luckily, the restaurant was closed at the time while they were installing an air conditioner. No one was injured in the crash.

The inside of the restaurant was not damaged so they spend the day cleaning up and hopefully opening back up with plywood for a window.

“Everyone came together and helped! We had a bunch of guys all fixing and putting it back together and cleaning it up! I’m so thankful! Every time I think of it I break in tears,” said the owner.
