A welcome home blockbuster party is being held Saturday, Aug. 20 on Fenchurch Avenue and the whole community is invited.

There will be food, music and games for adults and kids, and it’s all free.

The event runs from noon to 6 p.m. and is being organized by Todd and Kim Davidson, who were among those who suffered severe flood damage in November 2021. They were able to return to their home mid-March.

The Fenchurch Avenue area was one of the hardest hit neighbourhoods during the flood, and many more families have returned over the summer months.

The event is made possible through a Small Neighbourhood Grant from the Community Foundation of South Okanagan Similkameen.
