Kamloops RCMP are asking the public for help locating a missing man, who they believe could be elsewhere in the Okanagan.

Ferit Genc, 36, was reported missing to police on Feb. 18. His last known contact was on Feb. 14.

“It is possible that Ferit may have left Kamloops and be elsewhere in the Okanagan,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. “If you are or know where Ferit is, please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment as soon as possible so we can confirm his well-being.”

Ferit stands six-foot-one and weighs 220 pounds. He has black and grey hair and brown eyes and is possibly wearing black sneakers and a black puffy jacket.

Anyone with information regarding Ferit’s whereabouts is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP detachment at 250-828-3000 and quote file number 2024-5001.
