The Princeton Fish and Game Association hold a fundraiser dinner and auction each year to raise funds for their club and to enable them to give assistance to the community.

The benefactor for the fundraiser this year is Princeton and District Community Services, for a new safety tub at Vermilion Court.

President Al Lay and secretary-treasurer Joy Klassen presented Lynn Pelly, executive director of Community Services with a $2000 cheque towards the purchase of a new tub.

Pelly graciously accepted the donation on behalf of the residents of Vermilion Court and of  Community Services.

“With the growing number of residents using the tub, an industrial model is needed,” said Pelly.

Anyone who is a client of Community Services is eligible to use the safety tub.

Total cost of an industrial model tub will be about $15,000.

The Princeton Fish and Game Association hold various events throughout the year as well as their annual fundraiser.

Monthly meetings are held every second Wednesday at the Library at 7 p.m., with the exception of July and August. New members are most welcome. Questions? Give Joy Klassen a call at 250-295-3134 or Al Lay at 250-295-0250, they would be happy to speak with you.
