Children and teens can take part in a flying program, including a flight with a local pilot, in Princeton on May 6.
“COPA for Kids” is an opporutnity for children and youth to begin to understand what aviation is all about and give them an experience of being in the cockpit of an aircraft in flight.
The one-day program put on by the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association is a free.
“The participants will learn the technology and science of flight and be shown the advantages of the hard work required to achieve a pilot’s license,” the COPA website says.
A completed registration and waiver form is required at the event for each child and teen who want to participate.
