Plans are now underway for the 62 Annual Family Fair, which raises funds for bursaries for the Graduating Class of Princeton Secondary School. The first Family Fair was held in 1951, put on by the PTA to raise funds for equipment for the school. It has evolved to be an annual fundraiser for bursaries for each year’s graduating class at Princeton Secondary School.
Community participation has been great in the past years and once again we are calling on the community for support with this annual event. While you are doing your spring cleaning you may find articles that you may wish to donate to the Fair. We appreciate all “garage sale” items (no used clothing please), toys, puzzles, plants, books, jewellery and handicrafts – preferably in good clean condition. As well we need donations of breads, buns and baking. Articles may be dropped off at Princeton Secondary School beginning Monday April 15, or call Lisa for pick up at 295-3535.
Tickets will also be sold for the popular “Taste of Princeton” raffle. Tickets will be available from any grad or at the Fair. The draw will be 3:00 p.m. April 18, 2013.
