The Posse is ready for round two of the KIJHL playoffs

Princeton faces off against North Okanagan at home this weekend

The Princeton Posse will face the North Okanagan Knights in round two of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League playoffs, the Bill Ohlhausen Division final beginning this weekend.

The winner of this series will move on to the semi-final round in pursuit of the Tek Cup.

Earlier this month the Posse secured the President’s Cup, finishing first in the regular season.

While the Knights finished 13th in the regular season, with 50 points compared to the Posse’s 68, they are hoping to be a spoiler in Princeton’s record-breaking year.

North Okanagan and Princeton have each lost only two of their last 10 games.

Princeton beat Summerland 4-1 last Wednesday, Feb. 22, to sweep the first round series.
