On Tuesday, Oct. 1, the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club competed in a Turkey Shoot.

This is a low net tournament.

First flight: First Val Eibner, 74; second Frances Colussi, 75; third Lil Smith, 76.

Second flight: First Maribel Rothfield, 71; second Jean Walker, 77.

This week’s format was a team game Shamble, counting par points.

Results: The winning team with 103 points was Martin Nisbet, Peter Schnurr, Les Brough and Bob Fortune. Finishing second with 101 points was the team of Stew Macaulay, Doug Marchesi, Graham Baggalley and Dwain Sandrelli. In third place with 100 points was the team of Art Ecker, Garth Humphreys, Dennis Glasscock and Ken Bridgeman.

This is the windup to the club’s competitive season.
