A handful of legendary hockey players have kick-started their careers in Penticton over the years.

Whether they were known as the Broncos (1964-1975), Knights (1979-90), Panthers (1990-2004) or Vees (1975-79 and 2004-present) Penticton’s junior ‘A’ hockey teams have featured some wildly talented players.

However, great talent isn’t always necessary to achieve fan adoration. A little heart can go a long way in the eyes of hockey fans. Many Vees players achieved widespread popularity in Penticton despite never possessing a high-level skillset.

So, who is the most popular Vees player of all-time?
