This week was a busy one for hundreds of high school boys across B.C. as March madness stopped through Langley for the 48th annual B.C. boys high school basketball championships.

The four days of competition ended Saturday night, with the Walnut Grove Gators taking first place over the Kelowna Owls in the 4A division at the Langley Events Centre.

In the 3A division, Abbotsford's Rick Hansen Secondary beat out South Kamloops for first and second respectively, and in the 2A division Brentwood College from Mill Bay took top spot with St. Michaels Blue Jays to follow.

In the 1A division, the B.C. Christian Academy Panthers took the win home to Port Coquitlam, winning against the Kelowna Christian Knights.
