The South Pacific The Princeton Highland Dancers jumped for joy and squeezed a little sand between their toes before Day Two of the competition started.

The Princeton Highland Dancers are back from their International dance competition on the island of O’ahu and still smiling.  The competition had dancers from Scotland, Australia, California, Missouri, Ontario, Alberta and  B.C. battling for the coveted Hawaiian Scottish Gathering medals.  Every Princeton girl brought home a medal, a stamp on their dance card or a wooden turtle for their efforts.  The dancers all performed to the best of their abilities and under the tutelage of Janet Banks and Amy Liberatore did a wonderful job representing Princeton, B.C. and Canada throughout the two day competition and daily parades.  Congratulations girls!  You have made Princeton proud.
