For the Love of the Game

Princeton Minor Hockey hands out their awards.

Initiation A was coached by Al Lawes who said he was “Very proud of his team.  You all worked hard this year.”  Jesse Benson, Sydney Lawes, Hawk Bruneau, Zack Lindquist, Axel French, Reid MacMurchy, Madison Fulton, Skylar McKinnon, Max Greening, Mitchel Yee, Parker Gunn, Devon Harrison and Shawn Harrison made up the hard working team.  The Esso Awards went to Devon Harrison for Most Improved; Hawk Bruneau for Most Sportsmanlike; and Sydney Lawes for MVP.

The Novice team had this hard working group: Kyle Cosman, Trent Robinson, Curtis Gould, Kirk Scollon, Dylan Gullason, Annabelle Scott, Cori Harder, Trenton Vegara, Quinn Harrison, Josh Warren, Cameron Landinen and Keaton Welpton. Awards for this team to follow in next week’s paper.

Ryan O’Neil coached the Atom Development team.  Carson Zieske and Chad Simon assisted.  Matt Maynard, Cole Harder, Carson Thibert received awards for Most Improved Skaters.  Marcus Brodie was Most Offensive Player.  Case Brodie and Grant Yee were Most Defensive. Jayden Simon and Jett Larsen were Outstanding Goalies.  Liam Zieske was Hardest Worker, Nathan Silbernagel and Robert McElroy were Most Sportsmanlike. Quinn Clarke was Most Improved Player, Austin O’Neil was MVP and Mason O’Neil was Rookie of the Year.

On the PeeWee team Parker Thibert was chosen as Most Offensive, Hayden Zieske – Most Defensive, Tanner Sulentich – Most Sportsmanlike, Kris Gullason – Most Improved, MVP – Cache Cook.  Denis Thibert was the coach and gave special mention to Jeff Scott for assisting.
