Taylor White won four medals at the Kamloops Interior Highland Dance Association on the weekend and got another stamp for her dance card.

Twice a year, the Princeton Highland Dancers head to Kamloops to compete.  The spring competition was held on the campus of Thompson Rivers University at the Clock Tower Theatre on Saturday April 30.  This year only four competitors made the journey.

Payton Cranston and Makenna Gush were the two youngest competitors.  They competed in the Primary 6 year old category and both brought home some medals for their efforts.  In Beginner 8 and under, Holly Atkinson brought home two thirds.  Taylor White was the only Novice to attend the competition and she had an excellent day on stage.  White competed in the Novice 11 and under category bringing home a first, a second and two thirds.

Next competition for the dancers will be in Trail on May 28 at the Kate Shaw Memorial Highland Games.
