Dear Editor;
I have just completed an intermediate computer course at the Skills Center in Princeton, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I heard about it by word of mouth, but it was on posters in the post office and other places here.
The beginner course was free( I also attended and this time, being a senior it was partly paid for by “Princeton Leaders for Literacy for Seniors” and the skills center . Only $50.00 for 15 hours tuition and there were only 5 of us in the course.
It was very well taught, with each of us being asked what we particularly wanted to know, and that being addressed. It went at a pace we older adults could cope with, our brain not being as agile as a few years ago.
Thank you so much for this programme , it makes me feel part of the technological world today. I know I have a long way to go yet but it has opened a new aspect for me and I will continue to enjoy and I hope, gain confidence.
