I am sending this letter to both of our local newspapers. I found your front page story in last week’s Spotlight ethically irresponsible which is why I am writing this to both our community newspapers. In future when you reference {or disparage} me in an article I would appreciate if you would contact me prior to publication of the story, and not a week later asking for an interview.
While I have considerable to say related to the article, much of it would have to do with the aquatic center and it would be unfair of me to go into that prior to the referendum. However since you have referenced the letter I sent to Charles Weber, I would ask that you print it completely so your readers can judge for themselves whether your headline “Alternate Director Fired for Volunteer Work” correctly reflects the content of my letter.
