No party time for them

While we hold Britain’s Prince William and his bride Kate in great admiration and respect, their present visit to Canada would be a marvellous time for the transition of Canada’s head of state from a foreign British Monarchy to a Canadian, as we haven’t been a colony of the British United Kingdom for some time.

Dear Editor;

While we hold Britain’s Prince William and his bride Kate in great admiration and respect, their present visit to Canada would be a marvellous time for the transition of Canada’s head of state from a foreign British Monarchy to a Canadian, as we haven’t been a colony of the British United Kingdom for some time.

During this recession may we respectfully ask what the total cost to the Canadian taxpayer is of their visit and what do we get out of it?

Especially the jobless, the homeless, the hungry, and the forgotten.

No party time for them.
