Dear Editor;

When is a hospital not a hospital?  When it’s located in Princeton, B.C..  In the last ten days, there have been three accidents and all had to be sent to Penticton because of no one and no facilities here to treat them.  A lady with an eye injury, a jockey that broke a leg when the horse he was riding went down and an accident near Coalmont involving a quad and rider.

Heaven help anyone that might have life threatening injuries.  They probably won’t make it.  Not even an ultrasound machine here, so if that’s needed we have to drive an hour and a half for a half hour on the machine and then, an hour and a half home.  Is that insane or what???   When will the powers that be realize that we need a hospital that is a hospital?
