‘Bill’ a lifetime resident of Princeton, died after spending the last few years of his life in Ridgewood Lodge, where the wonderful staff made him feel completely loved and at home. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Lorne (Karen) of Oakville ON, and by granddaughters Sarah and Hilary of Vancouver. Bill started horse logging with his father and later became a respected heavy equipment operator. He took those talents to the mine, and retired after many years there. Upon retirement he took up golf, which became his obsession. After his wife Joan died in 1991, Bill was never far from the golf course, even in winter when he checked on the clubhouse daily. Bill’s family would like to thank all the people who visited him regularly in Ridgewood, and especially the staff, who helped him to cross the finish line so gracefully.
