Ronald Lomax of Penticton and Princeton, B.C., passed away peacefully on August 27, 2011 at the age of 79 years. He went to his final rest at his retirement home in Qualiqum B.C., while surrounded by family, after many years of battling Alzheimer’s.

He married Marion Wilkinson on December 24, 1949. They had been together for 57 years when she passed away in 2006.

Ron came to Canada in 1956 and worked to bring his wife and three boys to join him the following year.

After originally living in Ontario the family moved to B.C. where they settled in Princeton for over 25 years.

Ron worked in the mining industry, and then the logging industry, for many years before taking early retirement.

He is survived by his five children, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Ron was preceded in death by his loving wife and their

infant daughter.
