Roland "Bud" Sydney Marshall of Princeton, B.C. died peacefully at his home on August 21, 2024 at the age of 92.

Bud was born on November 2, 1931, to Sydney and Ethel Marshall at the families homestead in Polwarth Saskatchewan.

He left Polwarth and headed for B.C in the late 1950's where he moved to Cawston B.C. Here he had his children Annarae, Wayne, Randy, and Kerry.

He settled in Princeton B.C. in the late 1960s where he met his loving partner of 53 years, Diane and children Stephanie and Mike. Bud worked primarily as a logger as well as a miner during his time in Princeton and retired in his 60's.

He had a love for the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed his daily morning walks around Princeton and chatting with the locals.

Bud is survived by his partner Diane Wick; his children, Annarae Russell, Randy Marshall, Kerry (Debbie) Marshall, Stephanie (Don) Mintzler, and Mike Wick; His siblings, Violet (Sten) Granberg and Marlene (Leroy) Coates; as well as many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Marshall and parents Sydney Marshall and Ethel Marshall.

At Bud's request, no funeral will be held. Memorial donations may be made in Bud's name to Princeton Fish and Game Club.
