December 29, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Myra Brewer, at the age of 79 at the Princeton General Hospital on December 29, 2019.
Myra was born and raised in the Otter Valley where her family operated The Buck Horn ranch running cattle and horses. As she grew older she packed many eager hunters into the high mountains looking for that prized animal and was very successful at that. She was well known for her stern advice and beliefs whether it was a horse or a person. But it was always followed by a sweet and sly smile. In saying that she was very active in her community being a part of the Otter Valley Fish and Game Club advocating for what she believed in. She will be forever missed for her great advice and warm hugs. Rest easy, back in the valley on that high mountain our sweet mom, grandma, aunty, Myra.
Myra was pre deceased by her sister Edith Kassa and brother Ed Manion, Raymond Brewer, her grandson Dustin Oglivie and Mark Ogilvie. Myra is survived by her two daughters Lennea Brewer, Yvonne Price (Tom Price), her grandchildren Shane Ogilvie (Laura), Falon Laroye (Michel), Clayton Laroye (Crystal), Nadine Price (Derek), and her great grandchildren Donovan, Kalum, Nixie, Delylah, and Sorrel.
There will be a celebration of life for Myra in Tulameen with a tentative date in the spring/summer.
