In loving memory ~

With deep sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather on October 10, 2024, at the age of 86. He leaves behind a legacy filled with cherished memories, enduring love and unwavering strength. His presence will be dearly missed by his family.

Kenneth (Ken) was born in Mannville, Alberta, alongside his twin sister Kathleen Anne, to parents John and Catherine Thomas. After completing high school, Ken joined the Armed Forces in Aeronautical Military Communications. He was posted in Calgary, where he met and married Shirley Lemieux in 1963.

Ken served across Canada, Germany, and Egypt, concluding his Military career in Aldergrove, British Columbia. Known for his hard work and pride in his daily routine, Ken later moved to Princeton with his second wife, Dorothy, to enjoy the simple things in life. He was a member of the Princeton Legion and found joy in spending time on puzzles and challenging his family on the Scrabble Go app. Ken was predeceased by his two wives, Shirley and Dorothy.

He will be remembered by his sons, Dan (Belinda), and Ken (Julie) and daughter Toni-Lee; his grandchildren Amanda, Jonathan, Glenn, Meghan, Sydney, Kaitlyn, Rebecca, Jeff; and great-grandchildren, Tyson, Haryln, Eoin, Logan and Billie-Rose.

He was predeceased by his son Brad, who passed away at an early age.

Ken will be buried in Mannville, where his parents are, in the spring of 2025. This will allow him to rest in peace alongside his family.
