In loving memory ~
Passed away peacefully at his home September 15, 2022, in his 79th year. He so enjoyed living on the border of Manning Park East Gate surrounded by wonderful nature.
It was entertaining for him watching and feeding the little creatures visiting him while sitting on his deck during his last few years of deteriorating health. Jim will be remembered by his wife, Beverley, sons Todd (Barbara) and Graham (Medea), granddaughter Amy and grandsons, Owen and Alexander, brothers Ronald and Terry (Marlene), sister-in-law Patricia, as well as niece Michele and daughter Brandi, nephews Neil, Travis, Shane, and Curtis.
The family wishes to give thanks to the dedicated professional medical staff especially Dr. Colleen Black who made his life more comfortable throughout his care and to the community of East Gate and Bonnevier for their help and support. For many years, Jim enjoyed being of service to the community's fire protection society. Jim was happiest when enjoying the outdoors hiking, hunting, fishing, ATVing, skiing, snowmobiling, and camping. He loved his pets and especially appreciated any neighbours who visited him with their little canine companions. No service will be held at Jim's request.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Society, BC Lung Foundation or Eastgate Fire Protection Society would be appreciated.
