Iris Loretta Engelsjord (nee Dawson) passed away peacefully on January 11, 2020 after a brief illness. She is survived by her loving husband, Eric, of 57 years; sons, Michael (Jill) and Murray (Andrea); and granddaughters, Quinn and Adaira. Iris volunteered in her community, cared for many children in her daycare and had countless friends. When not doting on her granddaughters, she was known for her knitting, quilting and crafting; her skill at playing cards; and canning and preserving. Iris started life in rural Manitoba and spent most of it throughout British Columbia particularly Prince George, Okanagan Falls and Princeton. The family thanks the staff at the Princeton General Hospital, the Ridgewood Lodge and Dr. Monro. A Celebration of Life will be planned for the spring 2020.
