DONALD ALEXANDER: December 5, 1930 - August 15, 2013. Donald passed away peacefully Aug. 15, 2013 at the age of 82. Remembered and sadly missed by his wife Joan. Children, Jan, Okanagan Falls; Scott (Lori), North Vancouver; Karen (Merv), Bluffton AB. Step sons, Dale, Lynn & Grant. Grandchildren, Bridget, Lakia, Justin, Josh, Jason, Shane & Keenan. Great Grandchildren, Mavric, Shayne, Danika & Ila. Sister, Avril. Brothers, Jack, Ron (Doreen), David. Don was proud of his career of 35 years with the Vancouver Fire Dept. He enjoyed skiing, hunting, fishing, placer mining & upon retirement lived in the log house he built at Osprey Lake. Predeceased by first wife Patricia. Don requested no formal service.
