In loving memory ~
Donald was born in Winnipeg, MB, to Iona (Busch) and Vernal Smith. He became a heavy-duty mechanic, and worked in Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Princeton, BC. He was a member of the Okanagan Classic Thunderbird Club and enjoyed touring in and showing his black 1965 Thunderbird car. He appreciated the friendship of the other club enthusiasts. Donald is survived by his brother Allan Smith (Lynda) of Castlegar, BC. We will miss him.
Our sincere thanks to Dr. Timothy Van De Heide and the caring staff of the Ridgewood Lodge in Princeton, who had to evacuate the lodge residents to Summerland during the flood event. Providence Funeral Home in Summerland has been entrusted with arrangements.
