Al passed away at the age of 67 at the Princeton Hospital on Tuesday May 7, 2013.

Al was born in 1946 in Grace Bay, Nova Scotia to Frank and Ida Hill. Al eventually moved to British Columbia where he spent many years working at BC Ferries, before retiring to Princeton with his wife Shirley.

During Al’s years in Princeton he worked as a janitor and at the Princeton Golf Course. Later, Al volunteered his time with both Crisis Assistance and St. Paul’s United Church.

Al is survived by his loving wife Shirley, daughters; Pat (Doug) Sales of Ladner, Julie (Bryce) McCutcheon of Princeton, and son Stephen (Kellie) Hill of Surrey. Grandchildren; Krissy, Ashley, Katie, Kassidy, Jake and Tanner. Great granddaughter, due this summer.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013 at St. Paul’s United Church at 1:00 pm

In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Cancer Society or the Princeton General Hospital, Palliative Care, would be greatly appreciated.
