It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Alana Louise Forbes, beloved mother, daughter, sister and aunt. Alana passed away in Princeton, the town of her birth on June 25, 2011 at the age of 48, with her faithful canine companion Cracker by her side. She will be greatly missed, by her son Daniel Forbes (Chantelle Vermette), mother Marjorie Forbes, her 3 sisters; Gail (Frank) Lindley, Gwen Elliott and Eileen (Stewart) Kudryk. She will be lovingly remembered by her 7 nephews and nieces, Tony, Kevin, Mike, Bruce, Billy, Barb,Pam and her many cousins. Sadly, she was predeceased by her father WR (Bill) Forbes in 1981. Alana lived life to the fullest, she was fun loving, had a kind heart,was generous with her time and always concerned for others less fortunate than herself. Alana touched the lives of many people with her smile. She enjoyed listening to music, playing her guitar, crib and watching movies. She loved Cracker and the last few years he was her constant companion. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
