Witnesses to suspicious South Okanagan fire asked to provide info

A fire engulfed three travel trailers and a camper on the Osoyoos Indian Band reserve near Oliver.

A fire engulfed three travel trailers and a camper on the Osoyoos Indian Band reserve near Oliver on the night of April 27.

No one was in the vehicles – located on commercial property on Inkameep Road – at the time of the fire.

The fire is under investigation because it appears to be suspicious in nature, said South Okanagan Crime Stoppers.

Anyone with information on how the fire started is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS) or go to the South Okanagan Crime Stoppers website for more ways to provide tips.

Should information lead to an arrest the tipster may qualify for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
