A BX blaze came uncomfortably close to homes and surrounding area, Sunday evening while destroying a barn and trailer.
Lisa Gallie saw the blaze from her deck around 10:30 p.m. on Silver Star Road and called the fire department immediately.
“It’s really big,” she said, worried about it developing into a full wildfire.
A barn was fully engulged in flames while a trailer also suffered damage and nearby trees caught on fire.
BX-Swan Lake Fire Rescue crews were able to save the nearby home and prevent the fire from spreading further to the forest.
