Princeton’s little Posse sweeps Merritt tournament

The Princeton Minor Posse Atoms swept a tournament in Merritt on the weekend.

The team won five games, and took the gold medal in a 9-4 victory over Chilliwack on Sunday.

In total the young players scored 49 goals and gave up only 12.

Teams from Cloverdale, Kamloops, Aldergrove and West Kelowna also competed.

Team members are Torrin Bernier, Sophia Elko, Abigail Erickson, Scott Whitecotton, Jackson Gush, Cole Hough, Drayden Ross, Caleb Cleven, Tjay Smith, Hayden Hogg, Boston Nott, Sylvie Thomas and Dayton Hargrave. Coach is Aaron Hough, and assistant coaches are Rick Gus and Travis Hogg.
