An evacuation order issued for three properties shown in Schedule 1 for the Riverside RV Park and Estates area of Electoral Area G in the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen has been rescinded.
The order had been issued on Nov. 21.
Because of the continued threat of flooding in the area, the regional district is notifying the owners of these properties that an evacuation alert remains in place.

Under an evacuation alert, residents must be prepared to evacuate immediately.
Residents will be given as much advance notice as possible prior to evacuation; however, they may receive limited notice due to changing conditions.
Proactive measures to prepare for an evacuation order are strongly advised.
All evacuees are asked to register online with the Emergency Support Services Evacuee Registration and Assistance tool even if they do not require referrals such as housing or other services. The site is at ess.gov.bc.ca.
Due to a shortage of hotel accommodations, people are asked to consider making arrangements to stay with family or friends if possible.
Those who require services or information are asked to contact Emergency Support Services if they are unable to register online. The telephone number is 1-833-498-3770.
Those who have pets or livestock that need to be cared for and billeted are asked to contact Animal Lifeline Emergency Response Team for support at 250-809-7152.
