Paul Gabriel and his snowshoeing coaches; Allison Smith and Gloria Gagnon attended the Special Olympics Snow Sports Festival in Westbank, March 1 - 3.
The weekend included Special Olympic athletes from all over B.C. and Alberta who enjoyed a day of fitness and skill assessments along with analysis at Green Bay and a day of racing at Telemark.
Paul finished first in the 50 meter race and beat his personal best times in all of his events; 50, 100 and 200 meter races.
