Princeton RCMP recently welcomed two new members to their ranks, bringing the detachment nearly up to full compliment.

Corp. Kyle Richmond arrived last month, and is second in command.

He previously was assigned to Penticton RCMP.

Lindsey Fisher, a five-year police veteran from Saskatchewan, joined Princeton last week.

Sgt. Rob Hughes, the Princeton detachment commander, said he’s pleased to have the additional hires on board.

“We were at four and now we are at six,” Hughes said.

On paper, he explained, the detachment now has seven members, however, one officer is on paternity leave.
