A Princeton man in his 20’s is facing charges following an accident that injured two people in the early hours of June 1.

RCMP Corporal Chad Parsons said alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.

“Charges are pending.”

Police were called at about 4 a.m. to Highway 3 near Black Mine Road.

“We found a 1996 Buick Regal off the road on the eastbound side. The car had significant front end damage. All air bags deployed and the occupants were transported to hospital,” said Parsons.

Injuries were minor.

“The investigation of the crash scene showed the vehicle was travelling down Black Mine Road at a substantial speed and ended up swerving and fish tailing.

“It failed to stop at the stop sign and went right across the highway and into the ditch,” said Parsons.
